Recently released audience ratings from Nielsen Audio* confirm Michigan Radio’s position as Michigan’s most listened to NPR station. In addition to the station’s large statewide audience, Michigan Radio also has the largest listening audience among NPR stations in each of the following metro markets: Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
In the station’s home market of Ann Arbor, Michigan Radio remains the most listened to radio station of any kind, either public or commercial. Also in the Ann Arbor market, the station continues to have one of the largest audience ratings of any public radio station in the country.
