In a national election year, the importance of statewide Supreme Court races can be lost in the cacophony. However, the selection of these justices can have a lasting impact on the state's economy, politics and culture. The election to fill two seats on Michigan's Supreme Court featured four candidates with very different views of the court and its purpose. With assistance from producer Caoilinn Goss, Michigan Public's Doug Tribou spoke with all four candidates and the station aired the interviews during Morning Edition in September of 2024.
