Cynthia Canty talks with Leo Sarkisian himself. He's an ethnomusicologist and was the long-time host of "Music Time in Africa" for Voice of America.
Sarkisian was joined by Kelly Askew. She's an associate professor in the Departments of Anthropology and Afroamerican and African Studies. Askew is the founding director of U of M's African Studies Center.
