Ira Glass is sharing what he's learned as host of one of the country's most popular public radio podcasts.

Fans of NPR’s  This American Life are on high alert here in southeast Michigan.

Host Ira Glass is coming to the Ann Arbor Summer Festival this Saturday night. He’ll be at the Power Center for a show called Seven Things I’ve Learnedand he joined Stateside today to talk about it.

The lessons he plans to share with the audience on Saturday are big and small things he’s learned throughout his 22 years with This American Life – like how to learn Spanish while driving across the country or how to know if your kid will grow up to become a uniformed mascot in school, he said.
