Michigan cannabis company starts home delivery for recreational marijuana

Lume Cannabis Co.

Some Michigan communities have something new: recreational marijuana home delivery.

Lume Cannabis claims to be the first licensed recreational marijuana company to provide home delivery in the state of Michigan.  The service is so far only available in 11 communities in Osceola, Wexford and Mecosta Counties.

Customers must provide a valid government issued ID card showing they are at least 21 years old.

“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to iron out the details of our new delivery service to ensure it is efficient and improves customer satisfaction,” says Doug Hellyar, president and COO of Lume Cannabis. “We look forward to soon offering delivery at our store in Honor and across the state.”

Recreational marijuana home delivery will soon be coming to other parts of Michigan.

The Marijuana Regulatory Agency has licensed other companies to provide home delivery.

Since becoming legal December 1, retail recreational marijuana sales have grown steadily.
