The story of a woman who navigates both the rules of the road and the complexities of life from behind the wheel. This poignant, often surprising narrative blends humor and heartbreak, offering a compelling tale of survival through the lens of a troubled relationship between a young girl and her uncle. Nostalgic moments of learning to drive are woven together with hard-hitting lessons about life's darker truths.

This story is told through a woman’s recollections of an inappropriate romantic and sexual relationship she developed with her aunt’s husband during her teenage years. Please be aware of the following content notice: This show contains mature themes, including grooming, sexual abuse, power imbalances, and the long-term impact of trauma. The play also features strong language and discussions of sexual situations. While these themes are handled with care, they may be distressing for some audience members. Viewer discretion is advised.

Marshall Charloff & the Purple xPeRIeNCE is the most celebrated tribute to Prince in the world. The group was co-founded by Marshall Charloff and Matt “Doctor” Fink (keyboardist from Prince & The Revolution) in 2011 – an era in which Prince closely monitored the use of his art. Their vision was to deliver Prince’s music at the highest level, played live and untracked by skilled musicians, while paying respectful visual homage through costuming and likeness.

Like Prince, Minneapolis-native Marshall was discovered at 19 years old and signed by producer Pepe Willie. Marshall is actually featured on 94 East albums, where he plays guitar – with Prince himself on vocals. A multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer in his own right, Marshall has written for, produced, and recorded for the multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning Commodores and for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Little Anthony & The Imperials.

Marshall Charloff's outstanding all-star band, The Purple xPeRIeNCE, hosts a number of world-class players, including Tracey Blake on lead guitar, Ron Long on bass guitar, Ron Caron on drums, and Cory Eischen on keys.

It can be something you make specifically for this program, or something you've had for years that you want to finally put out there. We welcome different mediums including (but not limited to) 3-D, metal workings, quilting, crocheting, quilling, painting, drawing, and much more! We will begin accepting submissions April 1. Get creative and showcase your art to the community!
