Domino's Pizza is renewing its lease at Domino's Farm Office Park in Ann Arbor for ten more years.

More from AnnArbor.com:

Domino’s signed a deal in August to renew its lease in the Domino's Farms Office Park through 2022, and to expand its space by 12,000 square feet. “Since Domino’s Pizza moved to Domino’s Farms in 1985, they have been in a growth mode,” Domino’s Farms president Paul Roney said in a statement. “(It’s) a vibrant company that has been an important part of the Ann Arbor business community and their ongoing business achievements help create an atmosphere of success at Domino’s Farms.” Domino’s Pizza was the first tenant in the 1 million-square-foot office complex — which was developed by the company’s founder, Tom Monaghan.

Monaghan started Domino's Pizza in 1960 after buying "DomiNick's," a pizza store in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Monaghan bought the store from Dominick DeVarti. DeVarti's son, Rich runs "Dominick's" in Ann Arbor which remains a popular eatery on the campus of the University of Michigan.

Tom Monaghan sold Domino's Pizza in 1998 to Bain Capital Inc.

Mitt Romney signed the $1.1 billion check to acquire the international pizza company.
