When it comes to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), Michigan students unfortunately have nothing to brag about.
The results of the 2017 NAEP are out, and they show scores for Michigan's students were flat, virtually unchanged from the previous test in 2015. That puts Michigan students below the national average.
The worst news, however, comes out of Detroit schools, where scores were the worst in the nation.
