Tomorrow, March 27, beginning at 7 p.m., the Detroit Institute of Arts will host a 14-hour, overnight event called "The Science of Grief."
The idea came from poet Natasha T. Miller. She organized the event and joined Stateside today to explain what the community conversation and performance will entail.
Listen above to hear Miller's own story of grief, what she hopes attendees get out of the event, and why she thinks it's important to share grief with the community.
Support for arts and culture coverage comes in part from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
