The Flint Water Advisory Task Force released its final report on the Flint water crisis this morning at 10:30 a.m.

Gov. Snyder formed the independent task force last October. The group was charged with offering recommendations "to protect the health and safety of all state residents" after reviewing the actions by the state that lead to the Flint water crisis.
The five-member task force interviewed 70 people and reviewed e-mail documents released by the Snyder administration over the last few months.
In December 2015, the task force released a public letter placing much of the blame for the Flint water crisis on the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality for failing to "ensure safe drinking water in Michigan" saying the agency had a culture of "technical compliance."
From the letter:
This minimalist approach to regulatory and oversight responsibility is unacceptable and simply insufficient to the task of public protection.
The task force is comprised of Ken Sikkema, a former Michigan Senate Republican majority leader; Chris Kolb, president of the Michigan Environmental Council; Dr. Matthew Davis, a pediatrician in the University of Michigan Health System; Eric Rothestein, a national water issues consultant; and Dr. Lawrence Reynolds, a Flint pediatrician and president of the Mott Children's Center.
