Kalamazoo Public Schools will be open Tuesday despite another round of threats made against specific schools online Monday night.
Yesterday the district closed Loy Norrix and Kalamazoo Central high schools and two middle schools because of threats of violence.
Last night there were more threats against the two high schools and Linden Grove Middle School.
In a statement on its website, the district says police do not believe the threats are credible. It says the buildings will be swept by bomb-detecting dogs. Police will be on school grounds today. School staff will use metal-detecting wands as students arrive.

Four public schools in Kalamazoo will be closed Monday because of online threats.
Kalamazoo Public Schools says it is closing Hillside Middle School, Linden Grove Middle School, and Kalamazoo Central High School. The district is also closing Loy Norrix High School.
In a statement on its website, the district says the threats against the other schools appear to be copycat messages of the threat made against Loy Norrix High on Sunday. The district also tweeted the closings.

The district says it is working with local law enforcement to investigate the threats.
Residents are being asked to contact police to share any information they have about the threats or who may have made them.
