TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - The city of Toledo is reaching back 100 years for its new slogan.
New signs with the words "You Will Do Better In Toledo" will be going up all over town to welcome drivers into the city.
The city's mayor unveiled one of the new signs at his annual address this past week.
The slogan made its debut 101 years ago but had been forgotten for quite some time. It's made a comeback in the last few years, appearing in a local clothing line.
City crews soon will begin putting up 55 of the new signs around Toledo.
Council members tell WTOL-TV that they hope the slogan will restore among residents.
