Several thousand people are expected to swarm Sunday’s Ann Arbor Classic Bicycle Show and Swap Meet.
This is the show’s 35th year.
Organizer Paul Kleppert says people are drawn to see the rarest of the two wheelers.
“Many of them are worth anywhere from $15,000 to $25,000 a piece,” says Kleppert.
The hottest collectible bikes today date back to the 1960’s and 70’s.
Kleppert says the most avid collectors are looking for bikes from their childhood.
“It’s what people want to collect,” says Kleppert, “The most collectible bikes are the ones that are 35 to 40 years old.”
The bike show opens at 8am Sunday at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds, 5055 Ann Arbor/Saline Rd.
