Daniel Wanschura
Ever since he was young, Dan has been fascinated with radio. From hearing the dulcet tones of John Gordon broadcast Minnesota Twins games, to staying up late listening to radio theater, he was obsessed with the uniquely imaginative medium.
Dan graduated from Thomas Edison State College with a BA in Communications. After a podcast project called “Decibel Points” and some more specialized training in radio storytelling, Dan joined IPR in February 2015 as an intern. He became the Arts & Culture Reporter/Producer later that year.
Dan enjoys spending time with his family back in the Twin Cities, playing softball, and going on road trips. He’s also a podcast junkie, an outdoors enthusiast, and a lover of the Oxford comma— much to the chagrin of his editors.
He is excited to continue telling the stories of amazing people in this beautiful region of the country.
