A Trump administration commission investigating allegations of voter fraud has asked states to provide detailed voter information.

The Trump administration has created a commission to investigate allegations of voter fraud. States have been asked for detailed voter information. Michigan's Secretary of State Ruth Johnson says she'll comply with some of the requests, but will not send Michiganders' personal information.

“Morning Edition” host Doug Tribou and senior political analyst Jack Lessenberry discuss Johnson’s response to the request.

They also talk about why the part-time legislature petition lead by Lt. Gov. Brian Calley will be rewritten, Gov. Snyder’s decision to veto an anti-abortion fundraising license plate, and why Lincoln Park’s most recent city council meeting was so short.
