Where do 2019 budget talks stand right now?

State lawmakers are working on a budget for 2019.

State lawmakers continue to plug away at crafting a budget for 2019.

The House passed its budget bills on April 24, and the Senate's bills passed last Thursday.

Listen above to learn what the bills reveal about priorities for Democrats and for Republicans. You’ll also learn what kind of timetable lawmakers are working under, and what the big differences are between what the governor asked for and what lawmakers are willing to do.
