It turns out that Michigan is really good on ice.
We've got 13 Olympic athletes going to Russia. Actually, they're probably already there since the opening ceremony is Friday.

There are 230 U.S. athletes who are going to the Olympics in Sochi. California is sending 20, while Colorado and Minnesota are each sending 19.

- The U.S. team is the largest delegation in the history of the Olympic Winter Games.
- The youngest athlete is 15. Her name is Maggie Voisin and she is a freestyle skier.
- The oldest athlete is Ann Swisshelm, who participates in curling. She is 45.
- The average age for athletes is 26.
- There are 105 female athletes and 125 male athletes.
- Three of the athletes are mothers, 19 are fathers.
