John U. Bacon, Michigan Radio sports commentator, joined Stateside today for a sports roundup.
Let's start with the Lions:
“The mighty Browns are now 0-10, and they are threatening the only team that ever went 0-16 — of course, that’s the Lions,” Bacon said.
“The Lions are 5-4 right now," Bacon said. "That is the cusp of mediocrity."
While he doesn’t foresee the team winning the division, he does predict “a wild card birth” which is “right on target” for the Lions.
