A Michigan Radio Virtual Event
Join Michigan Radio's Morning Edition host Doug Tribou for an evening of conversation with Jenn White, the host of NPR's 1A program. They'll discuss what it's like behind the scenes at a national NPR talk show, as well as White’s long career in public media and podcasting. We'll also welcome your questions.
Jenn White has worked in public radio since 1999. Prior to becoming host of NPR's 1A, she worked at WBEZ in Chicago where she hosted the station’s midday show, Reset with Jenn White.
White is also a familiar voice on a number of acclaimed WBEZ podcasts, including Making Oprah, Making Obama and 16 Shots, which chronicled the fatal police shooting of Laquan McDonald and the trial of Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke. Before joining WBEZ, White was the local host of All Things Considered at Michigan Radio.
1A can be heard on Michigan Radio every weekday from 10 am to noon.
Note: This is a virtual livestreamed event. A livestream link will be sent to all ticket purchasers. Tickets for this online event are $10. Purchase tickets here.
