Union members at Lansing's Sparrow Hospital overwhelmingly approved strike authorization in a vote that ended Sunday.

The union, which represents 53 worker classifications, including nurses, pharmacists, social workers and therapists at Sparrow, would provide a 10-day notice before setting a strike date.
