Those gales of November are coming in full force tonight.
The National Weather Service issued a notice that predicts waves up to 20 feet high in Lake Michigan over the next few days.
Those waves, plus wind gusts of up to 55 mph on the west side of the state, may cause lakeshore flooding. And thunderstorms across the state could cause power outages.
Strong winds and giant waves are in the forecast until Friday, with winds strongest on Thursday.
You can watch the storm from the safety of your home on the St. Joseph Lighthouse Cam or this Grand Haven livestream. Catch any good pictures? Send them to us on Facebook or Twitter.
And keep heart. The NWS writes: "Fair weather follows for the weekend."
